This linocut pays homage to the French-American artist Niki de Saint Phalle, transposing her celebrated feminist sculptures "Les Trois Graces" into a graphic, narative print. The three exhuberant female figures embody the artists' "Nanas" in a joyous celebration of femininity, maternal strength and body positivity. The dance unfolds on a green lawn evoking the Champs de Mars set against a stylized silhouette of the Eiffel Tower. Niki, the contemplative creator in a sober black dress with her iconic, whimsical blue hat, watches as her iconic figures dance freely in the Paris sky.

To make my art prints, my original sketch is transfered onto a block of lino which I cut out with special gouges. I hand pull my art prints on a press, one at a time.

Each linocut is a unique and original piece of art. After pulling the print on my press, I hand paint in oils and watercolor. Slight differences in each print are inherent in the process.

This hand-painted edition is limited to 20 prints.

The print is sold unmounted and unframed but is shown here in a standard 50 cm x 70 cm frame.
